Default Guide to protecting your computer - 02-19-2012, 11:36 PM

I have three nice anti-virus/optimization systems for you guys. Basically any viruses one misses, the others will pick up. All of these are free to download, and safe. I have them all on my computer.

1- http://www.iobit.com/advancedsystemcareper.html

Advanced System Care 5. Comes with game boosters, RAM defrag, and nice quick clean option which greatly helps your computer. Features a massive toolbox with a lot of different options free and paid. For the full version you only have to pay less than 10$.

2- http://www.avast.com/en-ca/index

Of course I couldn't leave out the well known and highly trusted Avast, known for its great real-time shields and it also has a variety of scanning options.

3- http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

CCleaner, wonderful for freeing up extra space on your computer. Gets into all the unneeded files, empty's recycle bin, clears internet history, great to keep around.

Well, those are the three systems I use to keep my computer top-shape, hope they help you too.

These two below were recommended by users of this forum.

4- http://www.malwarebytes.org/

5- http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...ity-essentials

Not much I can say about them because I have used neither. Happy surfing.
