Default Agility breakdown - 01-11-2013, 06:59 PM

THIS IS STILL IN PROGRESS

Doing some research and testing, I decided this would be a fun tool for players to help them maybe deal with training the worst stat in RS history (second MAYBE to Dungeoneering). So, let's get into the guide.

Getting to the training course
  1. Go home (::home)
  2. Talk to Pirate Jackie the Fruit in Varrock Square

Training
There are seven obstacles located around the training course, all of which give you exactly 10,000 experience when completed. This gives you a total of 70,000 experience per trip. This means it will take exactly 187 trips around the course to reach level 99. Personally, I think it'll be a better option to just buy 1->99 agility, but I'm going to do all this by hand for you guys. Alternatively, you can take the route of skipping the log cross and the pipe crawl, which members claim to be faster experience-wise. In this situation, it is 50,000 per trip. This method will take a total of 261 trips to reach level 99.

Spoiler

Breakdown per trip
Here I will break down the overall work required by showing you guys the level per trip around the course.

that's just stupid dont walk across the log and dont use the pipe... that way you'll finish 99 agility twice as fast.

and ps: agility is an easy skill -_- i did 8m xp an hour on normal xp 16m xp on double xp

I didn't say it wasn't easy, it's just stupid. It's tedious and has little practical use, even in real Runescape. I will time the trips the way you mentioned, and if your method is faster, I will list it as an alternate option.

i have 200m agility xp and im 100% sure my method is the fastest .....

and maybe a little trick for you to gain more agi xp is when you're near the rope click 1 step before the rope and when you start running to the step near the rope click on the rope, that way you'll just run through the rope without having a waiting time

compared to runescape, in silabgarza is 99 agility very useful, since it gives you unlimited run energy

Maybe I was just slow, but when I calced it, running the full course nets you about 3500xp/sec, where as running the partial course that you said is only 3333.33333xp/sec. Judging by how small this was, however, it might have just been that I was too slow. Either way seems to work out without much of an effect. I will calc where you will be with each trip both ways. As for uses, I did not know that.

No point in this when everybody knows the fastest way. I like the effort though

Maybe the guide isn't needed, but it's still a guide that I'm starting and, therefore, finishing. Even if it's unused and completely ignored, I will still put a lot of work in it.

As the table is getting huge (already at 50) should I put the table in separate tables in multiples of 50 trips, and put each table into a spoiler tag?
