Welcome to W.I.N.'s information thread that will help you with whatever information you are lacking, or whatever questions you may have. If you have any further suggestions on things we can add to improve this thread, please notify @Gta or myself via VM/PM. Located below is a table of contents. Clan Guide

Joining the clan: Well, it's pretty simple. You can post on our Main Thread, or you can post on one of the branch threads located here: Skilling, or PvM. If you are already in the clan and you're not in one of the branches, simply post on the branch(es) you're interested in asking to be added. For PvM, post a picture of your gear that you normally PvM in with your asking to be added. We no longer have a PvP branch (until further notice).


Requirements: There are absolutely no exceptions to be taken when it comes to the requirements. You either meet them or you don't, period. The requirements, in case you haven't seen them already, are as follows:
Exact Clan Requirements

To apply for the clan as a whole, you must:
Code:
> Five+ 99s (non-combat)
> Active in-game (currently play)
> Have 5,000+ activity points
To apply for the Skilling branch, you must:
Code:
> Two+ 99s in-game (non-combat)
> Minimum of 5,000+ activity points
> Respect everyone
To apply for the PvM branch, you must:

> Five+ 99s in-game
> Active in-game (currently playing)
> 5,000+ activity points
> Acceptable PvM gear

Staff and Staff Applications: Before I say anything else, I'm going to put it bluntly. If you're inactive in the clan, do not apply for staff. If you just joined, do not apply for staff. Prove yourself to be in it to help the clan, not to call yourself W.I.N. staff. Now, onto the subject at hand. If you are active and looking for the chance to join our staff team, read the following information:
Specifications for Staff Applicants

Apply for a staff position only when you're positive your presence has been noticed in the clan, and only when your activity has shown through other posts. If you're going to apply, you should consider the following:
Are you active?
Have you posted enough to show that you're actually interested in the clan?
Are you interested in staff because you want to help?
What are your motives behind wanting staff?
All of those are important questions to ask yourself. Once you've decided that you're truly interested in becoming a staff member, then you can say that you've applied for and with all of the right reasons.

Clan Chats: Clan chats are pretty simple. We really encourage everyone to join our clan chat, but we won't force you to do something you don't want to do. If you're in it, well, good for you. We have a lot of discussion in it, and it really brings the clan closer. If you're not, maybe you'll consider joining it every once in a while. Just join WinCC in-game, and you'll have nothing else to worry about.

Allies: Well, generally, W.I.N. is a very friendly clan. We try our best to stay on the good side of all others. Therefore, we have allies. Having allies doesn't mean that we transfer memberlists or anything, we simply know that we can count on each other. We also include each other in events and other things. Pretty simple. If there are any clans we think we should be in an alliance with, we'd consider asking them for an alliance. It also works the other way around, any clan is welcome to ask for our alliance with them. It all just depends on the size/demeanor of the clan asking.

Ranks and Powers: In W.I.N., we have various ranks. This section will briefly explain the powers of each rank, and what they do and represent in the clan.
Ranks in Description

Owners - Quite obvious, they have any and all powers to do what they see fit is good for the clan.
Co-Owners - Almost everything. They can kick, ban, accept all types of applications, immediately promote players (they do not have to wait for review on applications), and decline member applications.
Branch Managers - Controls, to a certain extent, their branch. They are allowed to kick members from their branch, as well as ban. They can also promote/demote members in their clan without consent of Phil or myself. They can accept members in their branch, as well as decline them. They will not have the power to edit posts in their branch - ask Phil or myself.
Clan Managers - Can kick, ban, as well as accept all types of applications. They cannot immediately promote members (can still accept applications for review) or demote members.
Administrators - Can accept member applications, but cannot accept staff applications. They can also kick and ban people, as well as decline staff applications if they don't meet the requirements.
Moderators - Can kick and accept member applications. They cannot accept or decline any staff applications, nor can they ban members.
Clan Event Managers - Handles, creates, and upholds the responsibilities of all events held in the clan (unless otherwise instructed); they do not have any clan powers unless they're located in a staff rank in addition to this rank.

Events: Events are going to be help once a week (at least) if people are available as well as Phil or myself. Events are a really important part of W.I.N. We'll try to hold as many as possible whether or not they have prizes. They will vary from simple trivia to an all out competition. It just depends on how many people there will be, and if it will even be worth it.

1. What is W.I.N.?
W.I.N. is Winning is Natural. We are a universal clan that covers almost all aspects of in-game activity; Skilling, and PvM.
2. Why should I join?
Well, if you're looking for an active clan with respectful members and other skilled players like yourself, this is the place for you.
3. Am I allowed in more than one clan if I'm in W.I.N.?
Of course you are. We're not the type of clan to bind our members to one clan. More information can be located here.
4. How do I know when there is an event?
Events are held on a certain date, that of which you will be notified. Threads are made multiple days before said event occurs in order to achieve maximum member population participating. We want everyone to be able to participate, so all you have to do is look for a thread in our subsection that has something to do with the event.
5. What happened to the PvP branch?
Well, due to the low progression of the PvP branch, and trouble with having a steady branch manager, we decided to drop the branch altogether. We'd like to believe that (eventually) the PvP branch will be given another chance and it'll be more successful than the last two.
6. What is the point of having allies?
Well, as said previously, W.I.N. enjoys having close-knit connections with clans we can share events and other thins with. Having allies means a more powerful chain of command, and a larger clan community as a whole. We don't have allies to intimidate other clans per-say. We have allies to conduct events, interact with the community, and enjoy the experience that much more.

PvP branch information removed - side note added that the PvP branch is removed until further notice
‣  F.A.Q. updated - two new questions and answers have been added. Use your browser's search (Ctrl+F) to find the questions from the table of contents
  Permissions have been slightly tweaked - Branch managers can now promote members in their own branch without consent from Wyatt or myself
‣  Basic textual and grammatical fixes to improve the overall thread - text color changed to be more easily seen, a few grammatical errors fixed
