The quickest method to increasing your aim on first person shooters would be to buy something called FPS Freeks.

FPS Freaks are an attachment that goes on your right joystick.

For a better explanation, go here: http://www.kontrolfreek.com/FPS/Kont...-FPS-Freek.asp

Alternatively, if you have the cash, you should look into buying a SCUF gaming controller.

Easy, practice on MW2 and Black Ops. It's the same as MW3 in every aspect.

I'd always say don't use weapons with bouncy recoil such as AK47. Use things like Type 95 (My favourite) it is so overpowered as long as you hit above the waist it is one 3 round burst kill
The great thing about it is not many people know about it, have fun with this gun guys and girls!

FPS Freak's can work but i know a few people who said they are a waste. the better way to aim is to actually either go on the call of duty campaign and put it on hardened or regular not the recruit and shoot the enemies, its what i did when i started with cod 2 and never looked back. or even get a few friends and practice in private matches. usually you have more fun and become more accurate this way. My friend who was a PC gamer, we took him to an xbox we played Team Tac and ended up winning 53 games and lost 2 in a few hours all averaging the same scores.

ALSO NOTE: look at the sensitivity your on, toggle with them. it depends on how fast and slow you can react and stop to aim. i vary mine my go to sensitivity is 3/4 but i can play on 10 i see the difference in my leader scores.

Last point: even though this isnt about how to aim better, id try learn spawn points on game types such as domination / headquarters / TDM etc. just so you dont get shot in the back. .
