That's pretty interesting. Once you learn Latin I've heard it'll be much easier for you to learn almost any other European language.
I plan on picking up German again in college.

This.
I was considering learning Latin, and my parents were encouraging me to do so, but instead I've focused on French. :3
@Plucher_Dea, smart choice to pick up Latin, as Pat said, it'll be MUCH easier to learn other romance/european languages when you've mastered Latin.

I'm guessing what you're trying to say is: "Is there anyone who's learning latin? Because I currently am."

Yes, it's true. As myself, a Latin student I see a lot English derivations from Latin as in Cogtiare, To think, in English terms like cogitation, cogitate, et cetera.

While I don't have any intention on learning Latin; I have always had a passion for learning Japanese. I want to pick it up once I finish college and have a job to support lessons for it.

Maybe you should learn Japanese so you don't have to watch anime with subtitles
