HEY! I was cleaning and looking around for some things and found a couple of items. Since I'm somewhat secluded from the community, I decided to share some personal shtuff with you guys. It's nothing really big, but it's some stuff/memories that are very important to me. I'll have the images in the spoilers and some info right under it. Hope you enjoy or whatever.

Mr 223
Spoiler

I'll start with this lovely piece of clothing. This is the hat/beanie/thing that made me who I am on the internet today, Mr 223 (Mister two-two-three). I would wear it all the time during the 4th grade; I just loved the thing. Because of that, one of my older brother's friend decided to call me Mr 22 (Mister twenty-two). Don't know why, but I really liked the name, so when I was introduced to Runescape not too long after, I decided I wanted to use that as my username. Sadly, it didn't let me, but gave me options such as Mr 223, Mr 224, Mr 225, etc. For whatever reason, 223 appealed to me the most, so I picked it. It's been like 9 years since then, and I never once changed that name on Runescape and use it for other things such as my personal e-mail and other games.

Ballin' Since Day 1
Spoiler

This is my old jersey from '01 when I was 6 and played basketball at the Boys & Girls Club. I was there for only that season and played in the "Portland Trail Blazers." My brother was lucky enough to be in the "Miami Heat." I had been playing basketball since before, but my time in this club made me realize how much I loved the sport. I still play and practice religiously.

Pass Me a Pad
Spoiler

This is a piece that was done in middle school by the graffiti artist who inspired me to take a stab at the art myself. It was late in the day; I was still at school waiting to be picked up as always. I saw this guy sitting at one of the benches drawing, and since I knew the guy because he was my brother's close friend, I decided to go check out what he was doing. He was making this piece. I thought it looked super cool and interesting. I had always had an interest in graffiti, but this piece really made me want to try it. Once he finished it, he just said I can have it, and we started talking about graffiti. Soon after, I started trying it myself. He consulted and critiqued my pieces a couple of times. When I showed him my "CAS" piece, he praised me and said it looked awesome, especially since I made the piece through Photoshop.

It's 1 AM, so I'll finish with these three today. I have two or three more things, but it's too much reading and stuff. I'll post them later if/when I feel like it.

Well, thanks for the share. See, I didn't even know you played/practiced basketball and stuff. You're not the type of person to talk about yourself often unless asked. :3

I like the origin of your name as well. At least you have reasoning behind your name.

It would only make sense to have a special reason to use a "nonsense" name like Mr 223 for almost 9 years.

Well, that's what I was saying. You could be like me and have a name with absolutely no reasoning behind it.

I had always kind of wondered where you got your name from.

I really enjoy the tags you put out every now and then. Growing up in California has really allowed me to see some awesome graffiti works.

Thanks for sharing.

I still have so much lying around, some of which were the ones I was planning to share: 2 Karate belts, 8 Taekwondo belts, sparring gear, nunchucks, broken boards from the Taekwondo tests and competitions, my first blackbook, birthday and valentine cards I got from my first highschool friend, and so much more. It's hard for me to let go of my stuff. :x

I might do something similar now because of this thread, hopefully this'll get a new trend going.
Interesting read Jose, it's nice to see you open up a little to the forums.

Very cool idea for a thread, Jose. Extra personal and exposing.
