Default Shaking - 07-25-2013, 01:36 PM

Lately family members have been noticing me "shaking" whenever I eat. Ive been doing it since I was in school but never thought much about it. My brothers girlfriend is diabetic and thinks it may be to do with my glucose levels. She even gave me tablet-like things she takes and they seem to help. I'll find out more about it on Tuesday when I go to the doctors.

Heck, this may be the reason why I've been having trouble gaining weight over all these years.

What kind of shaking is it? It could just be restless legs syndrome. My mom hates it when my leg starts shaking.

Hands, legs and head. It's not like extreme shaking, more like tremors.

You're very skinny, and you've never been tested for diabetes...

When you have diabetes (type 2? I think), your body is not able to use the sugar you ingest as a power source... so it eats your fat.

I may be wrong, but I figured you had been tested for it.

@SlimBailey
I would have thought that they'd check for that when I had blood tests last year. If I do infact have it, so much would be explained.

They're checking my thyroid yet again for over-activity. Had my blood pressure checked and my pulse is higher than it should be also. From what the doctor said, if it isn't because of an over-active thyroid, then it's the anxiety from earlier this year. And seeing as I was being followed on the way to the hospital by a group of teens shouting and screaming to get my attention (My heart was pounding to the point it hurt), I have a feeling that may be it.
