Probably by taking a Japanese course for beginners or something but that will probably be a bit pricey.

You could try watching anime or japanese tv. Getting exposed to the language and hearing other people talk in it always helps.

"The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do."
-Walter Bagehot

"Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new."
-Albert Einstein

"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees an opportunity in every difficulty."
"To improve is to change; to perfect is to change often."
"Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm."
-Winston Churchill

"You see things and think, "Why?" I dream things that never were and think, "Why not?""
-George Bernard Shaw

My class mate is taking Japanese lessons, helps really well, but if you cannot take lessons, then buy a book for begginers, watch anime, read manga.

I was born in spain, but raised in england. I grew up learning spanish so maybe i had it a little easier, if you want my advice on learning a new language.. Don't give up! It will take more than a year to progress to a stage where you start thinking in that language!

I wouldn't care about the reviews. It all depends on how YOU learn.

I'd try Rosetta Stone over anything. That's the most dependable thing, I would think.

Unless you'd rather hire an online Japanese Tutor which would probably cost you a shit load of money per tutor session.
