Default Sleeping help please. - 05-26-2011, 01:58 AM

Okay I am on the worst sleeping schedule ever. I've basically pulled an all nighter the past 3 days and end up falling asleep like an hour after schools over and waking up at around 8-10pm. So i basically stay up all night through school (feeling tired as shit). Any advice on how to get back on a normal schedule? I'm not going to school today so i'm going to probably pass out in a couple hours :/

Ween yourself back into sleep, by going slightly earlier each day. Or just sleep for like the whole day you have off, to get rid of your tiredness. Then go to bed a lot earlier and carry on with that.

You have a day off right? Go sleep now, and wake up in like 3-4 hours.

This will mean you've had sleep, just enough till a later period of time, then go bed at your normal time.

Try to keep yourself awake in the afternoon, and when it's your normal bedtime, just go right to bed and you'll have a good sleep.

Or, maybe see the doctor. My mother had problems like these, so they gave her some pills to take once a day at bed whenever she feels like she has no sleep.

aw god, I had that too. The only way to get back, and it's hard, I know, is to try resist all day long without sleeping and go sleep at 22-23 then wake up at 7-8max. That way you will solve the problem

Lul, ever since my dad started working third shift I've been doing this a lot. But, I can usually handle it.

Stay up all night, buy a few energy drinks if you have to, and then, stay awake the whole day until about 7-8 PM, which is...19:00-20:00. Then go to bed, and wake up for school in the morning. Problem solved.

You shouldn't have put your sleeping schedule out from doing 3 all nighter's.

Try to start sleeping more, you'll get back in your schedule eventually.
