Default Finals - 01-28-2013, 12:18 AM

It's that time of year again...Finals. I personally can handle stress pretty well, but I have a few grades that are just hanging on the edge. I've met some pretty smart people on this server and I would like to know if any of you have specific advice/habits about test taking or just finals in general. Thanks for reading this over, and I'd appreciate any feedback i can get.

P.S. For those who care, this probably means I'll be less active for a week. Wish me luck and I hope to see all of you the few times I get on.

The article was quite interesting, I might try picturing the quadratic formula on my front door. Thanks for the advice and read.

Wow finals i sat mine a couple of months ago and found it easier to not start off too early with the studying mainly because you think you have gone over it but you end up over studying which is actually worse. What i did was study each subject like 1-2 days before hand and only did like 2-4 hours a day and i passed but a B overall so i was happy good luck

I sat down with my parents and they help/supported with studying. You can do the same.

Good luck on finals

Sometimes, hard questions could be solve by applying basic knowledge.

Fret not, I had already taken my final exam last year.
Btw, feel free to post picture(s) of your homework and perhaps we all could sit together and work out a solution.

I would agree with Ben tbh, but I would take more time practising it. A good headstart is to physically place the information around your Memory Palace to begin with.

So for example, all the stuff you struggle to remember, place the information on post-it notes and leave them around the Memory Palace (your house for example) in areas you use regularly. That way you can associate that area with that information, and you can remember the information by just thinking of the area

Good luck!

BIG thank you to Shane for this awesome sig!

no idea i finished my finals with learning for 3 out of 7 subjects lol.

and i've always learnt 1 day before an exam.

But when i compared myself to other ppl i always noticed they were quite nervous before the exam. Just don't get nervous, since nervousness may cause a black out

gl on exams

One tip (which is actually quite logical) that I picked up, especially in math, is if it is multiple choice than if there are two of the same answer one of them is usually answer which you could automatically eliminate the other choices which is a good way to help you on a problem you may not know.
