Default Old iPod, new iTunes.. - 07-25-2011, 09:10 PM

I have my old iPod here and since I recently had a RAT http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_Administration_Tool, it deleted my iTunes so I had to re-install it. Now, whenever I connect my iPod for the USB, it asks me the following, (The iPod "Josh's iPod" is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPod and sync with this iTunes library?).

NO! What to do...?

^ Thanks, Nigma.

Go to your iPod setting and manually manage the music. You can check which items you want to sync and which to keep off it.

Wait, does your new iTunes library have all your songs? If so then just do what it says an you should keep your music.

No it does not. If it did, I would have done that a LONG time ago.

You're fucked then, cuz without the old music, when you use iTunes it says can't find location for each song and they won't play. So your best bet is to just download all the songs you want and start over

If you don't want to illegally download music, here is a safe and legal Russian site that my guitar teacher showed me. It's called mp3fund.com. Just put 20 bucks and that buys you like 300 songs.

No, I'm not paying do that.. I can easily download music for free.. Seriously though, there's no way iTunes can decrypt and then encrypt the music files in the iPod? This is bullshit..

If it helps, I have a random collection of 213 songs than an old online DJ sent me, some of the newer songs are in it. Give me 35min for winrar to finish compressing and I'll post it for you. Not much, but a start is a start

Of course not. They fuck you over so that you have to buy more shit from their overpriced store that no one uses anyways.
