90% sure yes you do, along with the other farming equipment such as a rake to weed it out and a shovel for something (i think lmao).

Secateurs - you need this to pick all kind of farming stuff (flowers, herbs, other shit)
rake - to remove the grass from the patch you want to use (flowers, herbs, other shit)
spade - to remove the dead plants (flowers, herbs, other shit)
plant cure - not sure but you can use this when your plant is sick or something (flowers, herbs, other shit)
water can - you dont need to use this but it helps the plants to grow up faster.
compost - that shit in the bucket, dont need to use this.
