Default Computer blocking program - 06-26-2014, 03:45 AM

When i use the web client it says that my computers settings are blocking this program from running. I use to play a couple years ago and recently got an email and decided to play again. im sorry if this has already been answered im not very good at finding threads. if there is already a thread about this link it and i will see what i can do. id really like to play again.

Have you tried downloading the desktop client?
I've been getting the same message on the webclient, and haven't honestly been arsed to attempt to fix it, simple googling probably would solve it but meh.
Webclient worked for me.
Server is down right now so you've got plenty of time to download the desktop client.
If however you can't for some reason download the desktop client, I'm sorry but I'm useless :P

I've used AVG & Ccleaner myself and never had issues with runescape or runescape private servers untill I updated my Java.

I know Java has had some issues lately, and the latest Java version for example didn't load SG webclient.

You need to disable Java warnings. Follow the steps:

- Open control panel
- Then click 'Programs'
- You'll notice 'Java' in that list, click it
- A screen will pop-up, click the blue link 'Go to security tab'
- Set the slider to medium to avoid these Java blocks
-
- Profit

Thats what I did when the last Java update didn't allow me to load SG.
If that helps the person cheers Derk, now I'll know what to do if my desktop starts messing up.
