Upon reading the newest pk update, I came up with another suggestion that may or may not be useful. This will take time to do and I would like for this to be set as far back as possible so the more important things come first. Nevertheless, It may be possible with a bit of scripting that you could create an npc that gave out tasks/challenges that gave not so rare to rare items, money, or exp. It would give the players that have close or not so close skills to 99, something to take a break on but still gain the exp they need to reach their goal weather it be just 99, or reach max exp in that skill. So to sum it all up. You would go to an NPC. Pick a skill from which the NPC gives to work on. The random challenge would appear in notes or music. Complete what is asked of you, then turn it in for rewards. The challenges could be discussed throughout the community to come up with and create the tasks. For Example I will choose fishing as my task. ~~~ Fishing Level 1: Fish 20 shrimp and 10 anchovies. Reward: 5000gp, 4000xp. Bonus: Cook the shrimp an anchovies on a fire created by logs, for an extra 2000gp, 1000xp. As I said before, I wouldn't mind if this came a lot later. Tell me what you think. Good or bad feedback is always helpful in upcoming suggestions.

It's mainly for gaining exp for that skill without the bored feeling of no-life. It wont cause eco problems, there are worse ways to mess up the eco. And what did you expect, it's a level 1 task. Maybe higher level tasks will give you like 200-300k.

still its just doing what people do anyway, but giving them money for it.

That is what tasks do? Give you money for doing things. If you care so much about it, have it that you can only choose from 3 options: Money, Exp, Random Item.

The idea behind this is not bad.

Although I don't see how this would fit in the game right now. If the rewards are not good enough... no one will use it, if they give good xp and/or money, then it will be considered overpowered. I would love to see a different way to earn xp other than actually skilling. Wether it's bringing back random events and skill xp lamp, adding new quests or achievement diaries.... but a skill task system isn't the right choice.

Sorry but I'm not supporting this one.
