What type of suggestion (Item(s), Add-Ons etc.): Buff melee in general, ranged max hit, and mage accuracy.

Why you think this would be a good idea: In PVM, most of the bosses have defense revved up to the point that if you aren't using korasi, you're gonna hit once every 10-50 hits. For the sake of items like the whip and so on, in max strength, it used to hit up to 52, with curses pots etc. Now it hits 40 max, and stops going any higher at a certain point before even closely hitting max strength bonus, defeating the purpose in actually grinding a vast majority of gear. I feel like that should be reverted, and it seemed a bit rediculous at times in pvp, but everything got nerfed across the board because it seemed rediculous, but that made it fun. The risk in thinking if you aren't above 50 health, you aren't safe. It made for comboing to not be an essential part in pvp, you know you loved seeing those massive chunks in one hit. In full void with mage short and max ranged bonus, I used to hit 31-33 with rune arrows etc. Now it maxes at about 27. It's not all that unreasonable but It'd still help for that to be brought up to compete with melee, along with a few other items (Crystal bow, knives/darts, etc). Mage accuracy, I haven't had too much time to tinker with myself to understand how bad/good it is. I fought my friend on my pure, while I was wearing ghostly and he just had black d'hide legs, in 15 or 16 casts, I didn't hit him once. After that I didn't bother using mage because that was just awful.

How would it improve the server: Newer players wouldn't have to slave over killing tarn for a korasi, and ranging 24/7 isn't exactly the most exciting thing to do, considering you have to work or buy the ammo to do so, and it generally isn't cheap on a mass scale. If you slave for max strength bonus, shouldn't you benefit the most you possibly could from it, since you're sacrificing defense or attack bonuses for it? Same goes for ranged bonus and max hit with range. For example, I know it increases your accuracy but in full morrigans, roughly 200+ range bonus, my max hit doesn't go up vs using void. It's a bit unrealistic..

Who do you think it will help: Everybody, how couldn't it? I just personally feel that the "Across the board" nerf wasn't a great idea to "fix" the radical damage seen in most items. A lot of melee items are just pitiful where they're currently at, as well.

Great explanation and suggestion in one, the only thing I'm doubtful about is the magic thing you said. I hear people saying bridding is only a mage fight, it's more overpowered than melee.

Of course, I'm no PKer, so I wouldn't know, but your story makes all sense to me.

mage is fine , u can smack 40s easy.

range seems ok maxhit wise, accuracy is the only thing that needs a buff you hit once every blue moon.

melee should be buffed vs mobs i agree, but id rather not have whips smacking 52s seems a bit stupid if you ask me, whips pvp atm are fine in my eyes.

I'm not entirely sure of the mage part, I know the ranged max hit is fine where it's at, but melee in pvm definitely needs a rework... The pvp part was just a bit of nostalgia, it made sense if you're risking 10x someone else to be able to hit for 52's, though.

I agree with 85% of this. Whips are horse shit in pvp and pvm, ranged maxhit in morrigan top+legs with robin set and msb was 16 for me. maxed ranged and all, i find that a little bs right? Mage is a little hard because its crazy overpowered for brids, but 100% crap for pures, and i personally love mage puring.
