Default Headphones - 02-04-2014, 12:29 PM

Recently I've been bothered by my speakers for not making my sound clear enough. I've though about getting new speakers, but figured a headset is just as good or perhaps even better. But I'm completely clueless if it comes to quality and comfortable headphones. Can anyone advice me on what to get? I have a pretty wide budget, cost is not a problem as long as it isn't above 500 dollars.

I've got Tritton 7.1 Surround sounds. They're the best quality and a very good price for what they are. I'd have a look around on the Tritton website for headsets.

If your looking for something to be good with music rather than gaming as well I'd look into Bose.

Other than that I'd say stay away from Beats and Turtle Beaches. They're both over priced and you get the same quality from the two brands above (if not better).

I have a pair of Turtle Beach PX22s. Not as good as the PX21 in my opinion as they were quite uncomfortable at first but once I broke them in, they were quite comfortable. Sounds quality is good and the microphone is good too. No complaints for them.

The design turns me off a little, but I guess that's not that important. I can't order it in my country, I'd have to get it from Germany which takes super duper long and costs me more.

I'm not saying I don't want a headset but I prefer regular headphones. I've heard good stuff about Turtlebeach but I won't be using my microphone probably as my English is horrifying. I'll keep it in mind though.

They certainly look nice and quite cheap too. They list them as qualitative great headphones, so I'll definitely take a look, thanks. May I ask what type you have?

Astros are best headsets you could get for PC in my opinion. However, I have a pair of Logitech's which are decent. But if money is no object, i'd probably suggest one of the high end razers or a set of astros.

just don't get a headset if you don't plan to use the microphone
