Default My computer - 06-06-2014, 09:03 AM

I knew it was bad from the sound of the fans, but I didn't realise it was this bad. It sounds like a jet plane about to take off at times.

This is just idle at desktop.

When it tries to keep it away from 80c the fans speed to to 5k rpm.
I'm getting a new cpu heatsink block and fan, along with another fan for the case. Bad thing is, that won't be till Wednesday. No gaming or.... well anything until then I guess.

RIP 7 year old computer lmao

H100i Corsair water cooling for CPU is really awesome. Keeping temperatures really low and almost silent.

Although a good heatsink is pretty good too.

I'm staying away from liquid cooling until I get a decent computer. This one is too old to spend that kind of money on a shitty cpu lol at least when i get a decent cpu I'll be able to OC it and have proper cooling...

EDIT: Looking at getting this heatsink/fan setup. Looks like good reviews on it.

My desktop got up to 85 degrees while idling in the BiOS. It doesn't seem that bad while booted into windows but this got me curious. I'll download that program later.

Just fit my beefcake of a new heatsink. Literally double the size of my last one. Liking these temperatures much more.

Jesus it looks like your computer will kill itself.
The new temps look good.
OT: This is mine, thought I'd add extra to it as well.

Your transformation is not a disease.
You were just given the key to the door in front of you.
There's no need to know the cause.
No need for sorrow or sadness.
What comes next is up to you.
You can use your keys to open the door...or lock it tight.
And if you do choose to open it...
You can still decide not to pass through.

Configure what programs run when you start up your computer, no way should it be above 10%.
