Personally I would go for an ASUS motherboard with AMD chipsets and an AMD quad/6 core CPU. They are equally as good as Intel and half the price. Plus they are great for overclocking.

Other than that, nice build all round!

BIG thank you to Shane for this awesome sig!

Your transformation is not a disease.
You were just given the key to the door in front of you.
There's no need to know the cause.
No need for sorrow or sadness.
What comes next is up to you.
You can use your keys to open the door...or lock it tight.
And if you do choose to open it...
You can still decide not to pass through.

Well for EXAMPLE:

Motherboard: ASUS M4A88T-M
and CPU: AMD Black Edition - AMD Phenom II X4 3.4 GHz Processor.

The motherboard should have AMD chipsets already built in, which means you can access a program called AMD OVERDRIVE when your PC is all built and running. With this program you can easily Stress Test components, and OC your computer in various ways.

The Quad Core processors are always good, and if you look around online you will see how much cheaper they are than INTEL. From a really quick look around on Google Shopping, those two pieces of Hardware TOGETHER would only cost you around $200. Although you can likely get it cheaper.

Hope this helps (:

I've read quite alot about AMD vs Intel, dont really mind paying a little extra and losing a few fps to have better overall performance.
Thanks for your help though

Fair enough, from my personal experience AMD CPU's run just as well overall, plus they run a lot cooler which is nice.

Ultimately it is your decision but I would definitely stick to AMD. Give us a thread showing the computer and such when you have it done, would love to see!
