Default Hopefully getting this - 03-09-2014, 08:37 AM

I may be ordering this at the end of the month. Having been stuck with this Dell for the past 6 years, it feels good to know I'm getting a new PC. I've been going between a couple builds sticking to a similar price range and I've settled for a mini-PC. The specs are as follows;

Case
Trying to decide between 2 at the moment. It's either an AeroCool DS Cube White Edition Mini ITX
or a BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX
Spoiler

Motherboard
Asus H87I-PLUS Mini-ITX
Processor
Intel i5 4670k 3.6GHz
RAM
16GB Kingston Hyper-X Genesis Dual-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P.
GPU
4GB nVidia GeForce GTX 770
Storage
120GB SSD with a 1TB HDD
PSU
Corsair 650W CS Series Modular 80 Plus Gold
Processor Cooling
CoolerMaster Seidon 120M High Performance CPU Cooler
DvD
24x DVD Writer

Monitor
AOC 21.5" Widescreen Led 1920 x 1080
Keyboard
ROCCAT Isku
Mouse
CM Storm Sentinel Advanced II
Mouse Pad
ROCCAT Taito Mini
Webcam
Creative Live! Cam Chat HD
Headset
ASUS Vulcan Pro ROG

Overall this is gonna cost me a little over 119 a month for a year, which isn't too bad considering it'd be 2104 for 4 years on finance.

Thoughts?

I've read good reviews on this one, and the fact i can use it for both the computer and my phone makes me want that specific one even more.

Nope. It's terrible, the sounds great, but I've heard tonnes of people having them get damaged, they're really weak.

...why is that costing you so much? o.o I'd just save up and buy it outright, no need for a bill.

It shouldn't be a problem, but I'd check the length of the card with the size in your case.

If you're getting an aftermarket 770, the PCB might be longer.

I'm getting it built through a company that offers finance so the price includes vat unfortunately, but I'd rather pay a bit monthly and have it within a week than save up for a year. If I didn't want to pay it off in a year it'd cost me around 40/month for 4 years which is considerably more.

To begin with I was looking at an AMD build and I figured the i5 should be good enough. Worst case scenario I swap it out for an i7 at a later date.
