Which operating system in your opinion is the best?

Note: You cannot choose Macintosh PC with windows XP OS. It must be legit.

I must say, that I think Windows XP is the most reliable.
However, my Vista is pretty awesome and it's only the Basic.
I haven't got Pro, and I've never had Blue Screen or any errors.
It loads of reasonably fast, not as fast as I'd like, but it does the job.
I've also never had trouble with downloading things and setting them up.
Easy to use, files are easy to understand, and the layout altogether is pretty neat.

Windows 7. The boot up is faster than Windows Vista and Windows 7 has transparency. Windows XP comes close because of it's compatibility with software and such. Linux is not that bad as well. They're probably the best to use if you just like text-streaming and don't like GUIs. Windows is just a big GUI with text-stream under it, while Linux/Unix is just text-stream all the way and very little GUI.

I wouldn't really say windows 7 as they havn't fixed all the glitches yet, although Windows XP is the most reliable, common and glitch-free OS.

It's also basic and easy to use.

I would have to say ANY of the most commonly used Windows OS's

Windows XP for its almost glitch free programming.

Windows Vista for its features.

Windows 7 for its bonus features.

I personally like Windows 7 because its new, its sleek, and it makes thing easier.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate dual with Backtrack 4. Most of the time, I'm always on Backtrack 4, always improving the security of my home network..

Well, I have a Mac.
I love Macintosh, its just so sleek, ultra-modern and unique.
But, when it comes to things like the server I switch to Windows XP.(You can do that on the Mac Pro)
Windows XP is just so fast. My XP is pretty empty since I'm usually on Mac OS.
Vista is great but has some problems. Basic is probably the best Vista to get.
Windows 7 is a great one too, it has some great features.
