Default Suggestions for a new Laptop - 08-23-2013, 05:21 PM

I need to buy a new laptop for school but I know pretty much nothing about computers.
The laptop doesn't have to be amazing since I have a desktop as well and wont be using it for gaming but I want it to be able to like run Minecraft on decent settings.
My budget is about $500-$600.

Invest in an AlienWare they are worth the money and you need to get used to linux, but you can always get rid of linux and install Windows.

Alienwares are so massively overpriced it's unreal. Do not buy one.

You can get a nice HP or dell for around that price, or I think you can buy a touchscreen ASUS for that also..... One second let me double check.

I'm using an older version of https://us.toshiba.com/computers/lap...L855D-S5139NR/ and I personally like it a lot. Not a hardcore gaming computer but more than capable for whatever you need to do.

Smh.. I don't know what you guys are looking for, but Toshiba installs way too many third party programs onto their computers.

This is the one I was interested in a little while back: Dell Inspiron 15V 15.6" Laptop Computer, Intel Core i3-3227U, 6GB Memory, 500GB Hard Drive - Sam's Club

$400 and has some pretty decent specs to be honest.

Quote:

There are some things that are felt but are not spoken about
They hurt the heart, but we never let them show
There are things that I need, but can't ever ask of you
And If you gave them to me, just because I asked
It won't be the same
