1st - Not sure, but I think you're ment to multiply the first fraction until the denominator fits in the second one, then if its a heavy fraction you balance it out and then divide that by 2 is well and then that's x. - NOT SURE

2nd - Can't remember at all -.-

3rd - Not sure but; you times 5 by whatevers in the bracket. So it should become 5x-15.70=0. Then I forgot what to do next.

4th - Can't remember again but I think your ment to; move the -1 after the equals where it's sign changes and becomes a positive 1. And then you do square root of 3 and 2, times each other. Which is 2.449. And then I dunno what to do from there -.-

5th - Easy I think ; Move the x's to one side and move the numbers on one side. So;
-3x-2=5x+6 Should become
-3--5X=6+2
2x=8
x=4

Think that's all of it. Not sure whether there even right, haven't done maths for like 8 months now

Also, the example doesn't make sense.. 5 x 5.7 isn't 35, if that is what you are trying to say.

You should divide the 5 on both sides...
