You know how the order of operations go perenthesis exponents multiplication division addition subtraction? well inside the perenthesis, do you use the order of operations or do you go from left to right?

You just answered your question with your question.

Inside the parenthesis you go how it is, unless it's like: 2(1x+1) Then you would distribute the 2 to make it equal: 2x+2

Yeah, but you do whatever in the parenthesis first.

He is asking that if in parentheses, you go by order of operation or you do the operations from left to right.
(2+4x4)
if its multiplication first(which it is) or just left to right.

We don't use pedmas, we use bidmas, instead.

You would use PEMDAS in any case, including inside the parenthesis. It doesn't matter where you start, just use PEMDAS to get the solution.

Ex. (2x4+5-11) = ((2x4)+(5-11)) = ((8)+(-6)) = (8-6) = 2.

You use the order of operations, I think you're talking about BEDMAS,
B - Brackets [First]
E - Exponents [Next]
D - Division [Next]
M - Multiplication [Next]
A - Addition [Next]
S - Subtraction [Next]

Although Multiplication can go before division and subtraction can go before addition and vice versa.
