Default Ending anime.. - 06-18-2013, 05:48 AM

I am not sure if this would be best in the rants or here considering it is a mixture to both, but since I am posting it here I will pad it mostly to the anime side of things

Now to really kick this off, it has probably been said a number of times before but why do all the good animes and such have to be cancelled at such good points? E.g. D-Grey Man & Fairy Tail. Those were two pretty good animes and boom, cancelled right in the middle of fights.

Now that, that is out the way to pad it more to a anime stand point in general I guess to fire off a number of animes I have seen through to possibly introduce people to something new;

One Piece, Fairy Tail, D-Grey Man, Soul Eater, Bleach, Angel Beats, High School of the Dead, High School DxD, Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (Is This A Zombie?), Devil May Cry, Afro Samurai.

This is really all I can think of at the moment >_< It would appear I have stumped myself into one of those classic times of forgetting everything when you want to remember it, may add more later not sure - Max.

"Why was your face in my backpack?"
"The real question is, why was your backpack surrounding my face?"
"Seriously though where's my stuff?"

I've watched a few of the animes you mentioned, and as for when animes get cancelled, it's one of the reasons why I watch/read completed or short ones. Because I know it can happen at really plot-based points.

Also, I'd recommend watching Clannad, or reading Kurohime. They're pretty good.

Personally I don't enjoy shorter ones too much myself considering I get too into them and I generally end up wanting to watch more when it ends, that or I just watch them too quickly so most only last 1-2 days.

I recognise the name Clannad but not entirely too sure about if I have seen it or not though but I shall be sure to check it out just in case I missed it, thanks for the tip on that one.

It got to me as well but I stuck it through and overall I am still yet to work out what I really thought about that one.

As an addition to my list;

Hellsing - Hellsing Ultimate - Hellsing The Dawn
Vampire Hunter D

I'm the opposite, I mostly prefer the shorter ones purely because it's all story. There's not much/if any filler.
Don't get me wrong though, I do love the fight scenes of some Animes. Naruto being an example.

And another one to check out, if you're into romance kind of things, would be Elfen Lied. It's the first anime I really watched and I loved it. And a pretty gory/messed up one, Higurashi no naku koro ni/kai/rei.

A lot of the time canceled anime have a completed manga, but the anime wasn't popular enough to continue it. If you really enjoy the anime and it's canceled go read the manga.

im happy they stopped fairy tail, at first it was so fun and awesome to watch but later on like in the manga now its boring/too much fan service in middle of important fights etc.

Hmm, well the Romantic types are not normally my thing but when it comes to anime I will watch just about anything because you never know until you get through a few episodes. However saying that, on the other side of the scale I love "gory/messed up" ones so I shall definetly be sure to check out Higurashi no naku koro ni/kai/rei.

- Midway adding to the list; Ninja Scroll

I guess you have a good point on that one about the cancelling just I think it would only be fair to the fans to at least finish what they have started instead of cutting out midway through a crutial story point. As for reading the manga, I can't get into it properly for some odd reason, I know they're better but I just lack the focus to read them.

I'm just now getting into Anime
As a matter of fact, I just finished Death Note a few days ago. It's my favorite so far.

I haven't seen the ones that are getting cancelled half way through, but I do know what it feels like to have a story line cut off. It happened when I watched Teen Titans, they cancelled it right before a new season started and left its viewers "cliff hanger'd". So I kinda know what it's like.
