Default Slife of life. - 02-01-2016, 04:30 PM

Hi guys,

I'm currently in bed 24/7, watching a rainy sky cause of surgery I just had.
This made me want to start watching anime again.

My favorite kind is slice of life, preferably about college/high school life, life at home & summer travelling.

The ones I remember I like are:
-Golden Time
-To Love Ru
-Sakurasou no pet na kanojo
-Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko
-OreShura
-Shigatsu wa kimi no uso

I remember this place used to have great anime experts, so I'm excited to see what I'm gonna get.

The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun
Himouto Umaru-chan
Nijiiro Days (Brand new anime this season, so I don't know how good it is, but manga is freaking awesome and adorable.)
Ore Monogatari!!

If you're willing to read manga, I have many more suggestions there since I read much more than I watch.

Cute Girls doing Cute Things:

K-On - Music stuff, pretty cute, no real story

Hanayamata - Dancing stuff, cute, emotions and things

Yuru Yuri - No story, just girls doing things

SOL with other things included (ex: supernatural, sci-fi, etc.):

Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de - Kids in school get superpowers, but it's more focused on SOL school stuff than any superhero things.

Kokoro Connect - More focused on supernatural elements, but does include kids doing things in school (Middle school?)

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko - Not much to do with school, more daily life stuff. Pretty cute with a bit of "Sci-Fi" elements kind of.

More romance than SOL, more realistic romance than a lot of anime:

Hachimitsu to Clover - Not the best looking, but it's one of the few college anime and it's a pretty relatable concept.

Kimi ni Todoke - Think it's middle school (can't remember) but it has a good first time romance with great character development. It also has two two-cour seasons, so you get 50 episodes to enjoy if you like it.

Bokura ga Ita - This one is a little strange. I enjoyed the first cour, but didn't like the second one as much personally. It's a pretty rough romance concept with a lot of swerious topics being covered.

Also:

Barakamon - Not School related, however it's one of the best SOL I've ever seen.

AnoHana - Not school related, and really depends on the person whether you even consider it SOL. A real emotional roller coaster that a lot of people rate very highly.

It's a classic.

"Is it wrong to try pick up girls in a dungeon" was a fairly new one I enjoyed.

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar is an ongoing slice of life RPG thing thats been pretty good.

Nigga you're asking for a SOL.

99.5653% of SOL's are mind boggling boring.
